One Happy Podcast
We are back with the second installment of This Week in Aruba, your guide to all activities happening in the island. This episode of the show will cover the events from Monday, January 29th to Sunday, February 4th.

First of all thank you so much for all the feedback you guys have given on the pilot episode. I really do appreciate all the suggestions. I will actually incorporate one of the suggestions on this episode which is to include a shortened form of an interview with a guest. I will try to incorporate all of the suggestions that were sent in over the course of time as the show grows and gains more footing.

Two big events dominate the schedule for this week, which are Carnival and Superbowl:

Jouvert Morning Pajama Parade
When: 3 February, 4:00 am - 9:00 am
Where: San Nicolas

Aruba's Grand Lighting Parade
When: 3 February 2018 / 8:00 pm - 2:00 am
Where: Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino (Oranjestad, Aruba)

Aruba's favorite parade is a visual treat. Thousands of tiny lights are incorporated into costumes, road pieces and floats, intensifying the dramatic effect to an already stunning, creative display. Be part of the fun with an exclusive view from our pool deck. #Aruba #RenAruba #RDiscovery#BusinessUnusual #Carnival

Superbowl 2018 LIVE at MooMba Beach
When: 4 February 2018 / 7:30 pm - 11:30 pm
Where: Moomba Beach (JE Irausquin BLVD 230, 0000 Palm Beach, Aruba)

MooMba Beach is ready for Superbowl 2018! Are you ready for the biggest game of the year? Slowly but surely the Superbowl Mania is starting to get its grip on Aruba. Hearts are starting to beat just a little bit faster, expectations are running a bit higher as the excitement keeps building. On the island there are several great location to watch this Game of Games, but there is one standing out: MooMba Beach, `the Aruban home for the Superbowl’. With a beach stadium, giant, mega and big screens all over the place and specials on food and drinks, the 400-plus spectators at MooMba are sure to enjoy the 52nd edition of this extraordinary event, which is held in the US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

At MooMba guests can choose between make their reservations for VIP tables with a dedicated waiter and bottle service or sitting in the stadium on the beach on February 4th. Starting at 6.30 pm the place will be filling up; inside the restaurant there will be big screens, so you can have dinner at MooMba while watching the action....

Super Bowl Xtravaganza 2018
When: 4 February 2018 / 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Where: Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort & Casino (J.E. Irausquin Boulevard # 85, Palm Beach, Aruba)

Kick back at kick off and watch the game on an 24 ft screen ascending from the surface of the ocean. View the game in the comfort of one of our lounge chairs or have a seat at one of our select beach tables.

Feel like you’re at the game with a special Super Bowl themed menu.

On another note, I have included a recording from a listener and previous guest Volcano David (from EP. 48) that I received when I put up One Happy Podcast's hotline number on thr question of the week in our social media sites, asking "who do you think will win the Superbowl?" I have also included my own predictions if anyone is interested.

Another activity that caused my ears to perk up is:

Blue Moon Barbecue

Where: Tortuga Beach Bar (Boca grandi, N/A Sint Nicolaas, Aruba)

Now for the interview with Aruba Ray who is back to discuss the upcoming shows of Aruba Ray Comedy from February 6th to March 29th. As an introduction, we talk about the Superbowl because we are both fans then we delve into the details for the comedy shows including the amazing line-up, ticketing, other perks, amenities of the Marriott and Stellaris casino, and their sponsor, Hertz.
