It’s my pleasure to present the latest episode of One Happy Podcast featuring Alessandra Colandrea, who despite being a relative newcomer in the Aruba vacationing scene has already jumped right in with both feet by buying her own condominium unit in the island. Today we’re here to listen to her Aruba story and it’s bound to be exciting.
She first visited the island on July 2015, after being convinced by her sister who is a longtime Aruba vacationer and parents who recently bought a house in Aruba. And as expected, it was love at first sight. Not long after, she decided to purchase a condo unit at The Pearl Condo Hotel which she named “Blue Marble”. The main reason which brought her to this decision is that her entire family loves Aruba so she’s positive that they can always visit the unit together when they want to.
The Blue Marble is available to be rented out. You may find more details on the website: https://bluemarblearuba.com/ or on Facebook and Instagram. With its capacity of 9 people, it is ideal for large groups like families or friends. It can also be divided into a smaller space for couples. There is a 20% discount for the rental rate until August this year so be sure to grab it if you have the chance! She has an amazing team that manages the unit for her while she’s away so rest assured that you are in good hands should you decide to rent it out.
Alessandra also supports local artists by commissioning them to decorate her unit and her goal is a “vacation rental with a cause”. She plans to give a certain percentage to charity foundations with the profit she makes. Truly, Alessandra does not only have an adventurous spirit but also a heart of gold.

Called ‘Just Crazy Delicious’, the upcoming seven-course, adventurous dinner event at Que Pasa Restaurant will be a culinary experience. Every month the menu changes, but it has one thing in common: it is going to be mouthwatering good.
The start of `Just Crazy Delicious’ is in the month of July and we are disclosing the menu with a flourish: the appetizers are a tuna tartare with a tandoori crumble and a red beet salsa and potato soup with escargot tempura and pecorino foam. Then comes the risotto with sun-dried tomatoes and smoked almonds, crispy pork belly with a black bean sauce and wakame, mahi mahi wrapped in prosciutto with marinated baked bell pepper and a noily prat sauce. Dessert is awesome as well: a blue cheese tarte tatin with an apple balsamic reduction and marinated red fruit and caramelized filo dough.

The drink originated in Venice while it was part of the Austrian Empire (see Kingdom of Lombardy–Venetia), and is based on the Austrian Spritzer, a combination of equal parts white wine and soda water; another idea is that the name of the drink would be linked to that of a typical Austrian wine in the region of the Wachau.

Welcome to the latest episode of This Week in Aruba, which covers the events from Friday, June 15th to Thursday, June 21st also known as timeshare week 24. With Father’s Day coming up, the island has several events in store to honor all Dads out there.
But before that, my shoutout for this week goes to Mark Ivan who has been working hard to provide tourists with quality food and service for a long time. Here we are for the latest episode of This Week in Aruba, which tackles the events from Tuesday, May 29th to Thursday, June 7th which actually runs from timeshare week 21 and 22.
